For anyone after a calm glide and the scenery, in gentle conditions.
If you want more
Here we stop coming down: we stay up, in the thermals.
We look for the day's thermals to take a tour of the valley.
For those after a real thrill: the most dynamic side of paragliding, steep turns and the rush of seeing the valley from a new angle.
Exclusive flights
Long flights that need specific weather conditions.
Flying long distance when the sky allows: Gallina Pelada, Pedraforca, Cadí.
We walk up to the summit you choose and launch from the top.

The terrain
Three areas, many landscapes and one way to discover them: from the air. We fly in the Berguedà, the Cerdanya and the Anoia.
250 m vertical drop
Avià's small launch and the most accessible in the area. In the hours of strongest thermal activity we can enjoy longer flights; early in the morning and in the afternoon, conditions tend to be gentler and ideal for a calm flight.
900 m vertical drop
The flight from the Figuerassa opens up a wide view of the Berguedà. We fly over the Queralt Sanctuary and the town of Berga, and it is common to share the thermals with the local vultures.
1,400 m vertical drop
The launch is at the old Rasos de Peguera ski station, about twenty kilometres from Berga. From the top the whole range opens up, with the Pyrenees behind it, and you come down on a long, calm flight towards the Avià valley.
1,000 m vertical drop
A mountain pass in the Cadí, on the road from Castellar de n'Hug to La Molina. It is the high-mountain launch furthest from Avià: the Pyrenees on one side and the whole Berguedà spread out below you on the other.
The range topped by the Cap de la Gallina Pelada, in the heart of the Berguedà. You walk up, and from the top you have the Pedraforca in front of you and the whole region below.
1,000 m vertical drop
We launch from the Enforcadura, the saddle between the Pedraforca's two summits. The climb on foot is demanding, but the reward is taking off from the most iconic mountain of the Pre-Pyrenees, with a rock wall on either side.
1,000 m vertical drop
One of the great lookouts between the Berguedà and the Cerdanya. The walk up is easier than the Pedraforca's, and from the summit you can see the Cadí, the Moixeró and much of the Pyrenees before carrying on through the air.
400 m vertical drop
On the Serra de Rubió, north of Igualada and about 45 minutes from Barcelona: a long south-facing ridge stretching almost seven kilometres above the Conca d'Òdena, with the launch on the summit next to a large concrete cross. In the afternoon the air settles and conditions are very gentle.
250 m vertical drop
A small summit between Castellolí and Òdena, south-east of Igualada, looking out over the whole Conca d'Òdena. We fly here mostly in winter, as an alternative to Mallolas.
